Welcome to Minds of Science, the podcast where we speak with researchers and other scientifically experts to illuminate the human side of discovery. We dive deep into their life experiences—the challenges, the triumphs, and the practical wisdom—to give students and young researchers the advice, inspiration, and sense of community they need to thrive
Born in Elche, Spain, I have always had a thirst for knowledge. That curiosity became evident when, at the age of 6, I started dismantling all the electronic devices in the house. This passion led me to study Physics and eventually to found an online coaching company called Enso Movers, where I teach people how to use their bodies effectively.
While pursuing my Ph.D. at Heidelberg University, I was amazed by the fascinating and diverse nature of scientists. Beyond their research, scientists are inherently curious beings, eager to grow, discover, and improve. The desire to share that knowledge ignited a fire in me to start this podcast. Through this platform, I aim to share lessons and thoughts about academia, life, and scientific thinking.
As Pablo, I am a PhD student at the University of Heidelberg and fascinated by the physics that holds the world together. I have mainly studied gravity, but there is literally no topic in physics (or beyond) that I would say “no” to concerning an active discussion.
Throughout my PhD, I have had the pleasure to discuss and collaborate with various scientists around the world. With this podcast, I wish to share my experiences and give first-hand insights into life in academia from various perspectives and “ranks”.
